The Literat is a still-nascent literary blog for students taking ‘A’ Level Literature in English at H1 and H2. It follows in the footsteps of Livre or Die, a Literature blog for students from one of our previous institutions.

Having moved to new pastures somewhere in the West (which will return to somewhere even greener in 2020), The Literat wants to do more, to share thoughts and ideas more freely than previously, to flip the classroom with podcasts, videos, magic casts and whatever tickles our fancy. We can probably make the learning of Literature a little less daunting and, dare we say it, a little more inspiring.

While our name bears hints of sneaky propositions and thievish intentions, we will try to run out of our proverbial rathole and go watch some stars.

Now to go look for cheese first…
